How do I register my vehicle, boat, ATV, or snowmobile?

Boat Registrations

First Time Registration

First time boat registrations must be done at the Town Office during regular business hours. in order to register, you will need to bring the following:

1. Sales Receipt (dealer purchase) OR Bill of Sale (private party)
2. VIN OR Serial Number

If you wish to transfer your registration from another boat, you must also bring the previous registration you’ll be transferring from.

Renewing a Registration

To renew a boat registration visit the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries Boat Registration website. You may also register by visiting the Town Office.
