Trash & Recycling
Warren does not offer curbside trash pickup.
Residents are responsible for bringing their own household waste and recyclables to the Warren Transfer Station, located at:

You’ll need a transfer station sticker, which is free for Warren residents and available at the Town Office.

Dog Licensing
If you own a dog over 6 months old, Maine law requires you to license them annually.
What you’ll need:

Proof of current rabies vaccination

Spay/neuter certificate (if applicable)
Fees:
-
$6 for spayed/neutered dogs
-
$11 for unaltered dogs
Licenses are due by January 31 each year. Late fees apply starting February 1.

Vehicle Registration
Registering your vehicle in Maine—or transferring your existing registration to Warren—starts at the Town Office, where you’ll pay excise tax and get your paperwork started.
You'll need:

Current registration if transferring plates

Voter Registration
Warren residents can register to vote at any time at the Town Office or on Election Day at the polls.
To register, bring:

Proof of identity (like a driver’s license)

Proof of residency (such as a utility bill or lease)

Property Taxes & Assessing
Warren's property taxes are due twice a year, typically in October and April. Bills are mailed to the address on file with the Assessing Department.

In the Village and surrounding areas, some homes have access to public sewage and water provided by the Warren Sanitary District and Maine Water respectively.
