RSU #40 School Board

The RSU 40 Board of Directors is responsible for attending regular board meetings twice a month.  Board members are expected to serve on two sub-committees.  The School Board generally sets spending priorities, approves textbooks and other curriculum materials, adopts the annual school calendar, work closely with school and district leaders on school schedules, supplies, safety, discipline, classroom resources, facilities, set the vision, goals, and policy for the district,  as well as other responsibilities as deemed by the school district.
