DEPUTY CLERK, CCM, Motor Vehicle Agent, IF&W Agent, Deputy Registrar and Deputy Tax Collector : Melissa Sukeforth
Melissa is the Deputy Town Clerk/Motor Vehicle Agent/Inland Fisheries & Wildlife Agent/Deputy Registrar/Deputy Tax Collector. Born and raised in Warren, Melissa continues to live here with her husband - high school sweetheart, Jim. They have raised their 2 daughters, Sara & Stefani here, and are now proud grandparents to 3 beautiful grandchildren, Darlene, Anthony & Kara Rose, who are the next generation being raised in our wonderful little town of Warren. Some of Melissa’s most important duties are coordinating and administering all front desk and office activities, including processing tax payments, BMV transactions, filling vital record requests, and Inland Fisheries and Wildlife licensing and registrations as well as monthly and weekly reporting to BMV, IF&W and Animal Welfare. Melissa also helps maintain inventory, office records, and is an indispensable support in administration of Elections and Town Meetings. In September of 2016, Melissa became a Certified Clerk of Maine and since her return she has received her Re-Certification. Melissa’s prior employment involved various administrative roles and office management in the healthcare field.
