Peabody Bridge Culvert Replacement — Lane Restrictions and Closure

The Town of Warren wants to alert residents and travelers to upcoming culvert replacement work at the Peabody Bridge on Beechwood St that will affect road access in the area.

August 3 – August 10, 2026: One-Lane Traffic
The bridge will be reduced to one lane, with traffic alternating in each direction. Drivers should expect brief delays during this period.

August 10 – September 8, 2026: Full Closure
The bridge will be completely closed to all traffic while crews replace the culvert. Those who need to travel between the two sides of the bridge will need to detour through Thomaston. Please plan for additional time in your commute while this detour is in effect.

This work is necessary to replace the aging culvert and ensure the long-term safety and stability of the bridge. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience while this work is completed.
