SURPLUS RESIDENTIAL COMMERCIAL LICENSE INFORMATION

SURPLUS RESIDENT COMMERCIAL SHELLFISH LICENSES AVAILABLE

RESIDENTS of the five-towns of  GRRSM Interlocal Agreement (Warren, Cushing, Thomaston, South Thomaston, and St. George) may purchase one of the remaining commercial shellfish licenses on a first come, first served basis.  Commercial licenses are $315.00.  10 hours of conservation, with a mandatory 3 hours of time, is required.  Any remaining hours of the 10 may be purchased for $20.00 per hour.

Please visit your town office to fill out your application and verification (with town stamp) of proof of residency.  You will then return your application to the Town of Warren where you will also pay for your license.  Be aware that this must be Cash and check ONLY. 

Starting SEPTEMBER 1, 2026 NON-RESIDENTS may purchase surplus licenses for the same fee and must meet the same conservation conditions.
