NOTICE - Peabody Bridge Culvert Replacement on Beechwood Street - this project is delayed due to permitting - project will likely be done in 2026

The replacement of the Peabody Bridge Culvert on Beechwood Street in Warren will begin Monday August 4 with a completion date of October 15.  There will be one lane of traffic utilizing portable traffic signals for the initial project start up and the box culvert installation. For a period of time a full road closure and detour of traffic around the project site will be needed for up to 28 day to allow for the box culvert installation.

The Peabody Bridge has been deteriorating and DOT has put a weight limit on it due to the deterioration. JBI will be replacing the culvert that is currently there with a precast box culvert across Beechwood Street to allow proper water flow and stream habitation.

Traffic on Beechwood Street should expect delays or detours during the construction and replacement of the project.
