RFP - 2026 Electric Entrance Sign EXTENDED
Dear Prospective Bidders,
Thank you for your interest in the Town of Warren's Digital Entrance Sign project, and thank you for your patience over the past several weeks.
Due to a prolonged illness on my part, I was unfortunately unable to respond to the questions many of you submitted by the February 10th deadline we had set in the original RFP. My apologies for the delay, fortunately I am back in the office and functioning at full speed now!
To ensure fairness to all parties and give everyone sufficient time to incorporate these clarifications into their proposals, the Town is extending the submission deadline and issuing Addendum #1, which is attached to this email, along with the updated RFP noting new deadlines.
Here is the revised schedule:
Additional Questions Deadline: Wednesday, February 25, 2026, by 5:00 PM ET
Responses to Additional Questions: Friday, February 27, 2026
NEW Proposal Deadline: Wednesday, March 4, 2026, by 5:00 PM ET
Bid Opening: Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at 5:30 PM ET
Select Board Recommendation: Wednesday, March 18, 2026
The attached addendum includes answers to all questions received from interested bidders, covering topics such as sign connectivity requirements, pixel pitch specifications, project budgeting, and contractor information. Please review it carefully.
A reminder that proposals may be submitted by mail or email to myself here at planner@warrenmaine.org, and all submissions should acknowledge receipt of this addendum.
I appreciate your understanding and continued interest in this project. We look forward to receiving your proposals.
If you/your firm have already submitted a proposal and would like to make any adjustments to that proposal prior to the new due date in light of the answers provided in the addendum, please just note that it is an updated submission replacing the original in your follow up.
