Public Works Cemetery Improvements

Our town cemeteries have benefited from the expertise and work of our Public Works crew this season. A new entrance and road have been placed at Leonard Cemetery to access both the older and newly opened sections. Across the street at Fairview Cemetery, the avenues were dragged to help combat weed growth. In Sawyer Cemetery, a new entrance and road extension were designed and put into place. All avenues were re-graded with new gravel and a lower section of the front side of Sawyer was redesigned and mounded for future lot sale and use.

The Public Works crew do a lot of "behind the scenes" work in the cemeteries as time/weather permits throughout the year. We are truly fortunate to have dedicated municipal staff members who help beautify our cemeteries.
