The Warren Fire Department is a fully volunteer organization dedicated to protecting the lives, property, and well-being of the residents of Warren and surrounding communities. Whether it’s a structure fire, medical call, or severe weather event, our firefighters respond with professionalism, courage, and care.

Our department relies on the strength of local volunteers and the support of a regional mutual aid network that includes neighboring fire departments across Knox County. This collaborative approach ensures rapid response and strong coverage during high-demand situations.

Burn Permits

Planning to burn brush or debris? A valid burn permit is required for most outdoor fires in Maine.

  • Conditions Apply: Permits are only issued when weather conditions are safe for outdoor burning. Please follow all state fire safety guidelines listed on your permit.

Burning without a permit may result in fines or additional response charges.
