Role & Responsibilities

As Town Manager, Sherry is the chief administrative officer of the town and works under the direction of the Board of Selectmen. Her responsibilities include:

  • Administering the ordinances and policies adopted by the Select Board

  • Supervising town departments and personnel

  • Preparing the annual budget and financial reports

  • Overseeing town contracts, purchasing, and payroll

  • Making policy and operational recommendations to the Select Board

  • Administering the General Assistance program

  • Serving as Tax Collector and Treasurer

Her work ensures the smooth day-to-day operation of town government and supports transparency and accountability for all municipal functions.
