Veterans Memorial Flags

The town of Warren provides Veteran memorial flag holders at no cost to families whose loved ones are buried in our town cemeteries.

This spring, you may notice a change as the town replaces the longstanding plastic flag holders with durable aluminum ones. Thanks to funding from our segregated cemeteries trust fund, this upgrade will enhance the memorials’ appearance and longevity. Only the plastic holders will be replaced—existing metal and historic flag holders will remain untouched.

In May, local Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, and community volunteers will place memorial flags in the new holders across all cemeteries in time for Memorial Day weekend.
